GOOD RESPONSE TO ASDION PUBLIC ISSUE

MALAYSIAN Issuing House (MIH) announced that the Asdion Bhd public issue, under which 2,000,000 shares were made available for application by the public, has been oversubscribed and balloting of successful applications was conducted yesterday afternoon. The placement agents have confirmed that the placement of 9,000,000 shares to selected/institutional investors had been fully placed out. A total of 15,124 applications for 124,134,800 shares were received from the public for a total of 2,000,000 shares available for public subscription, which represents an oversubscription rate of 61.07 times. All notice of allotment for these shares will be mailed to successful applicants before January 11.
